When your thoughts turned to the internet as a way to get your message out and begin a business, you were filled with many ideas. Some were generic in concept, others you believed had potential. Knowing how to take an idea and make it profitable is the challenge.

In defining your Treasure Marketing Map plan is knowing where you want to be; having an understanding of how to plan the route to get there; what to do along the way when the road-less-traveled lies ahead, are some of the answers required.

Maybe the initial dream has not worked out well, yet. What questions are you asking yourself? and, are you doing this on a regular basis?

Ultimately, a marketing strategy requires two basic elements; a message, and a way to communicate that message. No one will opt-in if your message does not relate to their particular situation and, if you are not able to resonate within their emotional psyche; your message will be forgotten.

Network marketing is not a numbers game unless you are strictly involved in direct marketing. Network marketing is a communication entity. Your message is first determined and refined from feedback you receive from customers, mentors and mastermind groups.

What worked in the old-school marketing arena still works but on a different scale now. As difficult as cold calling is for many, the phone can still present an effective way to refine your message. Just asking can inform you.

We have all heard that the reason God provided us with two ears and one mouth was so we could listen twice as often as we spoke. Refining your message means hearing what your market is wanting, needing and searching for. But are you hearing that?

Finding your marketing treasurer could be as simple as hearing from your market. The Treasure Marketing Map you structure should include ways to hear that market, from multiple directions.

Did I Just Hear what I Thought I Heard?

Inside the Treasure Marketing Map you are preparing, find places to insert listening. Whether it is putting together a mastermind session with your group, finding trainings with the leaders of your market or researching through forums within your chosen market on-line, research is your friend.

There are several areas that communication and information are flowing, the solid kind of information that will resonate within your mind as a marketer. Developing sources that provide all of us ways to re-think or re-discover our marketing thoughts can be extremely beneficial. Hearing about situations from others should bring some of the early thoughts you had back into clarity.

Your business is your business and one that you understand. You take dreams you have had and work them into your marketing strategy. Ideas flow quickly through the brains of motivated, excited searchers, but if you have failed to write them down and store them, most may have fleeted away.

How can you bounce these ideas off of knowledgeable mentors without first writing them out?

If you are just beginning, commit to writing down thoughts and ideas. Organize them with how the thought came about and review them from time to time. At some point in your marketing efforts, one of those could blast your campaign into a different stratosphere.

Marketing has always been trial and error to a certain degree. You are trying to jostle with the emotions of your market and timing it correctly. Determining the correct time in the strategy is difficult at the very least no matter the product being promoted.

Your Emotions Confuse Me

Emotions change all the time, driven by outside forces each of us are engrossed in. As similar as humans are, individually we are still different. Each day changes the emotional sense each is drifting through. As marketers, our message must be structured so that when it is found, it resonates deep and makes sense.

Your Treasure Marketing Map plan can not hit this with perfect timing. What will assist you in its preparation will be keeping your ears open to trends, to questions, or to others expressing their opinions. Find ways to focus some of your time on what is being discussed in the market through forums or mastermind sessions and listen.

Take good quality notes. Ask questions of your group, your market and your mentor. But once asked, listen to all aspects being returned. Place the jewels in your Treasure Marketing Map notebook. Then revisit your early ideas and find a new treasure to uncover.

Digging Deeper into an Idea
to Squeeze More Value

Squeeze more value? This thought
intrigues me as I read that statement.
Squeeze more value!?!

I am taken around the internet by Google/Yahoo/Bing for the statements, “Network Marketing”, “MLM”, “Internet Marketing”, or “Work From Home”, and directed to multiples of programs, systems and ideas from millions of pages.

I see ‘Squeeze More Value’ all around as Internet Marketers expand their similar MLM programs and Marketing Systems, each gushing to gain their foothold in the Network Marketing industry and to achieve their financial freedom goals. Attached to these are the merchants with their way to assist in the building of your networking group.

You’ve seen them; traffic getters, AutoResponders, video services, etc. All tools to assist the marketer grow his/her business. Remember, those that truly gained wealth during the gold rush were those that sold shovels and picks!!

This profound thought caught our eye;

During the developing of your Treasure Marketing Map plan, you come across multiple ideas that you believe could work. Yet you know that if you implement one that is overly-costly, your whole business could collapse. Your Treasure Marketing Map should have zones for testing ideas weaved within.

Testing of an idea early (and inexpensively) could provide you a better path to follow. Testing determines certain word patterns gain more interest, or a color is more favorable than another, or that the location of your opt-in form works better in a different location for your Internet Marketing system.

The internet provides the least expensive way to test multiple marketing ideas. This is the power and leverage it provides but you as a marketer must implement ideas to verify its value. When tried, it may not work as well but do not throw it away just yet. Remember it and there could be an opportunity to bring your ideas back on a different marketing strategy.

Thinking around and outside of each idea can be quite beneficial in your Treasure Marketing Map plan. Don’t forget that there are ways to present your ideas in a mastermind environment to get input for modifications prior to testing. There are many to speak with; your group is the best sound-board provided you are training them appropriately.

Just Because; It Can Happen Again

I have heard that anything we could think of has already occurred? Yet this year, something occurred that has never happened before. You may have seen it; Bret Favre, quarterback for the Minnesota Vikings is now the only quarterback to have defeated every single team in the NFL after Minnesota beat the Green Bay Packers.

I believe that song writers have taken musical notes, notes that have been around since man first slapped his thigh and a friend’s thigh and heard a different pitch; or a writer has written a new book with words that have been in the dictionary or encyclopedias for eons; and this occurs each year!

You see, innovative people dig deeper and research further to find something different, something new that can work with their ideas. Those that are in Network Marketing trying to develop their Internet Marketing Strategy, it is not a lottery ticket just waiting for your $2.00!!! Your actions will define your results.
