When your thoughts turned to the internet as a way to get your message out and begin a business, you were filled with many ideas. Some were generic in concept, others you believed had potential. Knowing how to take an idea and make it profitable is the challenge.
In defining your Treasure Marketing Map plan is knowing where you want to be; having an understanding of how to plan the route to get there; what to do along the way when the road-less-traveled lies ahead, are some of the answers required.
Maybe the initial dream has not worked out well, yet. What questions are you asking yourself? and, are you doing this on a regular basis?
Ultimately, a marketing strategy requires two basic elements; a message, and a way to communicate that message. No one will opt-in if your message does not relate to their particular situation and, if you are not able to resonate within their emotional psyche; your message will be forgotten.

Network marketing is not a numbers game unless you are strictly involved in direct marketing. Network marketing is a communication entity. Your message is first determined and refined from feedback you receive from customers, mentors and mastermind groups.
What worked in the old-school marketing arena still works but on a different scale now. As difficult as cold calling is for many, the phone can still present an effective way to refine your message. Just asking can inform you.
We have all heard that the reason God provided us with two ears and one mouth was so we could listen twice as often as we spoke. Refining your message means hearing what your market is wanting, needing and searching for. But are you hearing that?

Did I Just Hear what I Thought I Heard?

There are several areas that communication and information are flowing, the solid kind of information that will resonate within your mind as a marketer. Developing sources that provide all of us ways to re-think or re-discover our marketing thoughts can be extremely beneficial. Hearing about situations from others should bring some of the early thoughts you had back into clarity.
Your business is your business and one that you understand. You take dreams you have had and work them into your marketing strategy. Ideas flow quickly through the brains of motivated, excited searchers, but if you have failed to write them down and store them, most may have fleeted away.
How can you bounce these ideas off of knowledgeable mentors without first writing them out?
If you are just beginning, commit to writing down thoughts and ideas. Organize them with how the thought came about and review them from time to time. At some point in your marketing efforts, one of those could blast your campaign into a different stratosphere.
Marketing has always been trial and error to a certain degree. You are trying to jostle with the emotions of your market and timing it correctly. Determining the correct time in the strategy is difficult at the very least no matter the product being promoted.

Emotions change all the time, driven by outside forces each of us are engrossed in. As similar as humans are, individually we are still different. Each day changes the emotional sense each is drifting through. As marketers, our message must be structured so that when it is found, it resonates deep and makes sense.

What will assist you in its preparation will be keeping your ears open to trends, to questions, or to others expressing their opinions. Find ways to focus some of your time on what is being discussed in the market through forums or mastermind sessions and listen.
Take good quality notes. Ask questions of your group, your market and your mentor. But once asked, listen to all aspects being returned. Place the jewels in your Treasure Marketing Map notebook. Then revisit your early ideas and find a new treasure to uncover.
