It started out the same….

The sun rose and so did I. Took care of immediate business
(if you know what I mean) -
the coffee was brewing, (love that smell)
the birds were chirping (some sounds I could do without),
the internet was running…

It started out the same…

Minutes went by, things changed; as if by cue.
The first morning “Hello” was greeted nicely – BUT THE SECOND ONE!

How can some people go through their days upset, angry, disillusioned?
What happened prior that caused such disenchantment?
And now it appears to be MY FAULT!

OK – the negativity is apparent. I normally let it go, move on….
This is the one time I didn’t. This person required confrontation.

“What is it that makes your life so miserable?” was my response.
Immediately, the excuses came, rehearsed, as though this question
is asked daily – answers immediately available.

“What are YOU doing to change or improve your situation?”
NOTHING!!!! came the anger.

If nothing is tried, how can growth occur? If nothing is the action,
how can one learn? If nothing matters, what will?

I must admit, there are lost souls among us and some that help is too late.
Maybe you sit there, reading blogs, searching the internet for an answer…
or maybe you just search – not really knowing what for.

WHAT GETS YOU OUT OF BED?
Trading hours for dollars meant you must get up, get ready,
fight traffic, get to the office. You had an alarm, hit the snooze
button once, twice or more, then drag off to the restroom for instant relief.
Snarl at the dog, make coffee and off to work we go – ho ho ho!

So many people are frustrated with their lives, the choices they have made
and now what they believe this is the only way for them. Life has no guarantees nor
is destiny set; we are required to act, to desire, to pursue with vigor if we want better.
Entrepreneurialship; working for yourself, for your future, using your ideas and creativity.

Also this means you must want to get up and do all the necessary activities.
There is no one else to rely on – it will be up to you.
If the computer is not turned on by you, there is no money coming in.
If your blog or an article is not written, there is no money coming in.
If there is no promoting or prospecting action taken by you, there is no money coming in.

EXPOSURE IS UNDER-RATED

To be an at home entrepreneur means that you are the responsible figure
in your business. Regardless if you promote a product, a service or a program,
it is paramount that your actions are daily – to promote, to expose, to prospect.

There are many fears that these elements present and it is amazing how many
are not aware of these factors when first being involved. Most have never sold before,
or at least placed their faces and personalities out front. Rejection, laughed at, un-respected,
looked down upon are many facets the entrepreneurs face and if you are going into business
for yourself in internet or network marketing, these are phases you will go through.

To be found in the big world requires exposure, exposure, exposure and
prospecting, prospecting, prospecting. These are daily actions and as your business’
representative, you are on 24/7. You are sizing up people you meet to see if they are do-ers,
if they are teach-able, if they have a dream that is exploding outward or if
they are just tire-kickers or “I’ll try it for a while” wonkers.

Updating advertisements, blog posts, articles, squeeze pages, emails or other forms
of your business is necessary. You must have your brand, your business sent out over
the internet daily because your competition is. This is a game and the one that placed
their offense on the field more often than their defense, will gain the foothold necessary,
the exposure necessary to be recognized.

IT’S A DESIRE FROM THE TOES

Working from home on your business requires a different effort,
a desire that explodes from your toes. It is what springs you from bed to do things,
to create. To write down a weird idea and not knowing why at the time, from watching how
infomercials are structured instead of late night TV.

It is this desire that sets you in chairs, feet in the air, brain dumping –
searching for new ideas, searching imagination for a new angle.
