How Backwards Thinking Is Taking Over Our Lives

These boys and girls that have the ‘power’ actually believe they know
better than we, and our citizens continue to live with ignorance.
Each election, we place money-grabbing power-hungry individuals in positions
of greater power without knowing what the ultimate consequences will be.
As an electorate, we elect people just so we can find out WHAT they WILL
do without knowing ahead of time who they really are!

Government continues to find ways to gain more control over our lives.
Whether it is grabbing land (by executive order) without any input from the
people or putting a bill into act to control the internet. Cleverly writing words that
indicate a cyberspace protective process hoping to use the end-around-game
to gain more control over what our freedoms should be.

Watch out people, we are eroding more and more of our freedoms each
and every day, and we are failing to notice that take. Special interest groups
fight for their power-grab using environmental issues to hide their agendas;
pork-filled bills that take all Americans tax dollars to study BS projects;
grabbing land in the western United States so energy development
can progress internally.

Every act these politicians take, regardless on which side of the isle they sit,
has been reducing our freedoms. They simply know more than we!
By allowing the stroke of a pen to enact laws without clear and concise debate,
without the will of the people to be entered, is wrong. History is repeating itself
and America will find itself depleted more and more.

Since You Don’t Know Enough, Let Me ‘Help’ You Out

I don’t care who you voted for in the past election.
For years we have seen more and more of our freedom reduced.
When we, the tax payers, bail out banks by giving them millions and all they do
is horde the money, refuse to make loans to small businesses to lessen
the unemployment numbers, is criminal. 9.7% unemployment is a farce;
it is nearing 17.8% due to the amount of people that are not even actively
searching for work, not even in the system no longer figuring
‘what is the use’!??

Our government, which does not create anything of real value, is so entrenched
to the big businesses of our country, does not really care about you and I.
Power over us is what IS important. Seeing the amount of money that bank CEO’s,
Wall Street financial firms, and yes, government officials are making
while unemployment continues is criminal.

These individuals could easily well help those hit the hardest by the
economic downturn, but just like the latest issues in the NBA with
selfish athletes, it is all about “ME”.

Finally, it comes down to an individual action. Those of us that ‘see’
what is going on must find ways to create our own stimulus.
We must find ways to survive and prosper.

You can work for a company, trading your available hours for dollars,
thinking you have security or you will have to go outside this little
closed-box thinking and take some risk to improve your
situation with your own creativity.

Allow them to run roughshod over your decisions is a cop-out.
Thinking that they know better is weak.
We still have creative options provided we are willing to act,
we are willing to think, we are willing to risk some comfort level,
to be involved in our own development. The internet provides opportunity
but it is the creative mind of individuals that provides the map.

You can set up your own internet business, use marketing tools
and quality communities that support your efforts, but you must act.
Regardless of what your level of experience is, there are ways to use

You know that your product or service is fantastic, why else would you market it? But you really need others to believe this as well otherwise your days in the game are limited. But people don’t really buy a product or service or program, they purchase due to the relationship that is built and this takes TRUST.

To build trust in marketing, patience is the key. It will not happen overnight. Online, these are tougher situations mainly because you are not shaking hands with the customers. The structure of your marketing message must reach out and shake their hands for you.

It may be the way you speak in your videos; it may be the structure of the words that you are writing, either way, you must understand that businesses are in the communication business. Your communication strategies are key in conveying the message the customers are hearing.

There are many theories on accomplishing this. Bottom line is that people purchase under two main circumstances; emotion or impulse. If your product or service is marketed under other highlights, you will be pushing a tractor up a long hill.

Your market is either in need of something that solves immediately or they are looking for your program to solve a long term issue. Which is yours? If you find that what you are marketing, be it a product/service/program, how will it improve their lives?

It is important that your words reflect this benefit. You want their emotions to be in the forefront when they come to read or hear what your offer is and why it benefits them even though they are not really looking to find that out right now!

If you are struggling to generate the correct message, it may be time to take a step back, re-examine the reason your product/service/program is there and how can you find the emotion that the market has. Or find a more correct emotion for you to tap into.

It takes knowledge to market regardless of the item and those that are beginning are not being shown the correct ways to get this message out. Why continue to struggle?

To get your marketing message across clearly to your market, it would be much more effective if we could just climb inside their heads. If we knew exactly what they think, when they think it, and what triggers each one to purchase, our campaigns would be widely successive each and every time.

No matter the amount of research you do for the demographic of your market, you will never be able to reach each one. It is simply impossible. The fickle brains of humans can not be trusted enough in determining success.

One day some within your market are just not receptive. They are not in the mood; could not care less about your fantastic product/program/service; then the next day they could be a raving fans and want to purchase every gadget you have. It is futile and frustrating on your part to try and determine this cycle.

Ultimately your best bet is to know your product/program/service well and structure your message in the best light. Don’t be wishy-washy or flimsy in this structure, for a “message in a bottle” floating in cyberspace is never read or acted upon.

This does not mean that you don’t do demographic research that is still critical, however, the more research time you spend on the benefits of what you are promoting and the keywords you will use, the better you will be able to structure your marketing message.

Your market, those that are ready to buy, are easily convinced with just a few benefits. These individuals are necessary to reach with your marketing message but in reality, you want to structure the tone, the words, the message, to those that are still sitting on the fence.

There will always be an ‘easy’ market, around 2%-5% that knows they want a product; a ‘never’ market, around 10%-15% that will never buy; leaving your marketing message targeting 80%-88% of those in your market. These are the determining factor to a profit margin.

These ‘fence-sitters’ aren’t necessarily ready to purchase; they don’t even know they need your product; they don’t even know your product exists; they are going to require convincing as to why they should even consider your product and if your message is structured correctly, they can now consider it.

This market group likely needs to be exposed to your promotion several times before they buy. So the key element of your message should speak to satisfying their wants, needs and desires. You will want to appeal to their curiosity side; making them curious about your offer and seeing immediately how it benefits them.

Persuasiveness is your best offense in structuring this message but by directing them to believe they actually are persuading themselves. Talents in writing a marketing message, either for ads, articles, blog posts, or even the script for a video are important.

Being able to find trigger words that extract emotion, curiosity, desire and wants will go much further with your message. This structure will hold their interest long enough for them to see that need, that want, that desire.

Find trigger words to utilize, impress upon them the positive benefits and how this product/promotion helps them today, but speak to them as though you are a trusted friend reiterating your satisfaction and they are coming to your side.
