I hear it daily….an argument based simply on hearsay.

It has become more prevalent that opinions carry more weight than fact. With social media, main-street news organizations and influential individuals, the assumption is they are right simply because they say so. What happened to supportive data to back up any statement?

Worse is the degrading of others that do not have similar views. What class was it that taught us that? The limited respect for other viewpoints has grown out of proportion today. The judgmental side of our personalities has become too potent.

We spend so much of our time labeling others. Heaven forbid if they are too different.No – we all can’t get along…true  however in the battlefield of ideas, listening is a big benefit.

Today we find more individuals expecting they are right without fact checking. It is an opinion when not true. Yet if the voice is louder, it is correct. What?!?

With information right at our fingertips, all that is required is time.
Time to verify; to correct; to investigate.
But no – immediacy is the norm today. I WANT IT NOW!
And not only is it wanted now, it has become expectant to be given.

Listen people, nothing worth anything comes easy. There must be action, dedication, sacrifice, desire and self motivation. When one wants and gets, they simply want more. The world does not work this way and not everyone will be successful, happy, rich or fulfilled. Get over yourself.

Our country is sliding down an extremely slippery slope….a slope know as ignorance. The less we dig – the steeper the slope. Thoughts, ideas, statements all require facts to support them. Just because it was heard – somewhere – does not make it right.

Ignorance will be the death of us all. Is that how you plan to go out?

Find the truth in what is being preached by our politicians, bosses, spouses, neighbors and call them on statements that are not fact, because YOU took the time to find the correct and honest truths. Our education system is broken; our government is broken; soon our lives will be as well. Ignorance is to blame.

Diligent action to verify, to have facts before stating; this is our best defense and as individuals, it is time we take the time to find correct answers. We are sliding in plastic pants!!!

Political Correctness.

What a joke. What really is the problem in America? Can you guess? Do you know?

IGNORANCE

That is it in a nutshell.
We have this “immediate response” lifestyle and an expectant level
of thought that things should happen RIGHT NOW!

IGNORANCE

Commodity traders can’t sell it;
Bankers can’t loan it out;
Governments don’t regulate it – they perpetuate it and expect it.
“Why change things now?” is what our politicians say, because,
they know most will not do what is necessary to really make any difference.

Very few will do the research;
Very few will ask the questions;
Very few will get involved.
WHY? Because it is easier to stay on the sidelines.
To view from beyond.
They think bad things will happen only to others.
Americas greatest commodity is ignorance and the abundant amount
available could last many lifetimes. How unfortunate.

As we lose more of our individual freedoms every month,
most will sit on the outside and say they aren’t affected.
Their lives are moving ok; maybe not as fast as just a few
years ago but they aren’t hurting. Wait till gas reaches price
levels seen in Europe. Are you ready to stop many of your favorite
activities so you CAN drive to work – then back home?

As long as many refuse to see the “big picture”,
prepare for the future, decide to educate themselves
and their families, our lives will continue to be developed BY OTHERS.

Others we don’t know; we don’t understand; and,
we don’t necessarily care about – until it is too late.

Information is all around yet few will dig deep
enough to find the truth; the right answers; – so they can
defend their truths. Their correct pathways.

The right directions to take for both themselves and their families.
When the time comes to act, do you TAKE action or simply re-act?
Do you search for answers? Ask the questions? Find the truth?
Or is it someone else’s problem; issue; responsibility?

What is ignorance worth to YOU?
When shall it be shouted that ENOUGH IS ENOUGH?
