This past weekend I was fortunate to attend a coaching conference in Las Vegas for Global Resorts Network, the finest travel membership program and business opportunity offered online today. Needless to say there were several ‘names’ that I had the pleasure to meet while there.

Network Marketing has its grip on so many positive people. Their attitudes are on a different level than the ‘daily grind’ individuals and is shown in their mannerism; the way they interact and just in their joyous expressions. As I walked around during the non-conference time, the immediate difference in people was so evident; heads are down, eyes are sad, walking in a sunken posture, how depressing.

Going to a job is work in and of itself. There are many that wish they could do something else but are unwilling to really take the necessary steps. The fear of stepping out or just lazy desire to do only so much grips many into sulking complainers or lost souls. It is sad that you are dealing with a majority that don’t want to be there and are unhappy that they are.

Network Marketing Provides the Escape

We attended a cock-tail party at the top of Trump Tower on the preceding Friday evening. This was to be mostly for the conference attendees to mingle and swap stories prior to the conference but turned into a larger event due to some of the gurus that showed up. The event was put on by Mark Hoverson, a top online marketer who runs his own high-level coaching program and is a top seller in the Global Resorts Network structure.

The first surprise guest was the president/owner of Global Resorts Network, Al Morales who started the concept back in 2006. His knowledge of the timeshare industry and of this type of membership product helped him develop a better way to market and provide a less expensive product as a travel membership program is what put GRN on the map and has made it one of the top products online today. His story is gripping to listen to and draw inspiration from.

It was also special to meet others that are moving up the ladder within Global Resorts Network like Kevin and Theresa Moss, their marketing business is thriving and Kevin expressed how difficult is was at first to get videos going. Knowing that others have experienced similar situations as yourself only helps to reinforce your efforts.

Even the ’starting out’ stories from those that are still moving within the ranks, such as Calvin Mah was inspiring. Or to hear the new ideas coming from marketers such as Jeff Donovan and how he is structuring his business provided inspiration.

The importance of attending live events can not be overstated. If your serious about your Networking then these provide invaluable opportunities to bounce ideas and strategies with others. You can not help but gain from this type of experience. Sure costs can sometimes be prohibitive but the bottom line is how you educate yourself will set you apart from those that are not willing to go the extra steps.

The Rewards Outweigh The Risks

One way to handle these types of events is to schedule them out far enough that you can set goals and take steps prior that allows for your attendance. By achievement you can go into one with extra confidence and thereby gain more. It pays to by on a heightened focus as you become a part of the experience.

We were provided with fascinating insights from Jeffrey Combs towards the latter portion of the conference. He is a tremendous speaker and provides quality insight that one can not help but be motivated to move forward afterwards.

Bottom line my fellow Network Marketers is become as involved as you can. There are multiple tidbits of quality information available that will provide you maximum growth. It is your choice to capture it, mold it to your use, and then inspire your group.

For it is not about your followers, it is about developing leaders.
