Can You See Your Future?

A couple of the commonalities of most successful people are they read approximately one book per week and they have taken the time to project themselves into their future. Being able to definitively see them selves successfully before beginning each process provides some interesting attributes.

Sure you will have to have determination to change who and what you are to reach many goals. By ’seeing’ yourself clearly as you aspire to be can then assist you in determining the necessary steps to reach that picture. The clearer you are about the result first provides some clues on what needs to be done to get there.

Seeing the results of accomplishments has a magical essence. The actual process becomes simpler to walk the bridge to that future place. The actual steps may not be well defined, however, through practice, these can become understood.

Maybe the process is to break this down into smaller bits. Due to your current employment situation you know that you should do something of your own involvement. You begin by writing out on paper (because seeing yourself write things down actually improves your chances of accomplishing it) the current talents you believe you have and experiences you have had.

Research Plays A Large Roll in Your Future

By reviewing your list several times and adding to it, some ideas will materialize. Now begin to imagine what you believe the future would be in one year or five years. Give yourself enough leeway so there are ways to put together that picture. Only you know!

Imagine every element you can from visual, smells, feelings, clothes, location, special features, make it as real as possible. Practice this over several evenings, this same mental picture exercise until a clear picture is processed.

With it now firmly transfixed, begin to write out generalized steps to take that will assist you in reaching that picture. After one or two weeks your ‘action paper’ may actually provide you an action plan you can now implement.

You Are Almost There

One step at a time and you will make it closer to your dream. Have your list at the ready at all times, not only to reference it, but to cross off an accomplishment. The strength that we receive by simply crossing off an accomplished promise we make with ourselves propels us onto greater achievements.

Over time, regardless of what promise you make yourself, practice ‘back from the future’ thinking will become one of your best habits, a way of freeing your mind into accomplishments, and consistently finding success.
