We are born into this world pure, natural and innocent only to be corrupted by surrounding influences, politicians and rules. From early on, we are told to make something of our selves by study, hard work and education. Depending on our personality types, some harbored these ideas keeping our noses to the grind-stone or, others discussed them with all that would listen.


Social skills began developing early on. First we began with our immediate family members, then newly introduced strangers (baby sitters, congregations) and then on to others our age to  structure our community.  For most it was a battle to fit in, be accepted, or not. Our existence was beginning to be defined with our chosen relationships.


Some were followers trying to fit in; others dictated the activities. All were just trying to be noticed. As our level of communication skills increased, so did our social network. Expanding on this idea, we recommended items we found to be beneficial to others. Just knowing they were happy made us happy and confident in our sphere of influence.


We Provided Indirect Leadership


Ernest Dimnet said, “Ideas are the root of creation” and when beginning your marketing endeavors, creation is your excitement level; the motivator to move you forward, even with trepidation. Network Marketing is a new and exciting activity to engage in. When you provided recommendations before, it was for the pleasure of others. You were never paid for your effort!?!


Now, to be paid for speaking and presenting, beginning marketers clam-up! We are afraid to speak to others about the benefits of our product or service or opportunity. Even though it can improve them, in some cases drastically, our nerves and actions become flawed and weak.


Network Marketing is Pure and Natural. You have been doing it in many forms from your earliest days. Expressing your opinions, desires, ideas, thoughts and/or directives to your friends and family, and in some cases, even to strangers. Having an unwavering belief in something, expressing this belief is not hard. It may actually be more difficult to find someone that won’t listen.


Using your God-given talents to communicate, create your network marketing message. Make it originally yours and begin your marketing efforts. The business of Network Marketing is pure and natural; it is speaking to others and assisting them to the betterment of their lives.


Sure it will require some of you to remove the shell and become more personal. Interacting with others is community; it is reacting to surroundings and attitudes, however, you are not preaching but educating.
