The individual has officially lost power.

It now seems important that many must band together, voice their opinion
louder than those around them and not listen to what others have to say.

Is this a sad statement?

Of course it is but with special interest groups being the only few heard
by government (meaning committing money to a party),
we will lose more and more of our freedoms. I do believe that there are
many good programs being utilized by Americans but the vast majority of
programs supported by government officials are only because of whom they
have received money from – not what they have to say.

This is true for both parties in our government.

I truly believe that many programs currently being supported by government
should only be supported by private investments – not tax dollars. If certain groups
believe one thing that requires large monetary commitments, why not raise
these funds from others of similar interests.

An example is “Planned Parenthood” (PP) and providing abortions.
Many individuals do not believe in aborting any fetus. Yet PP receives
tax payer funds for their programs. Many of their programs are quality
services but I as a tax payer should not have to support this action.

Granted, I do not have to send them money.
But if I wanted to support some of their programs, I now
have to support all of it inclusive.

Another example are unions.
Dues are paid and then those in power allocate funds to those they
support, not whom the due-payers believe in. If you don’t pay, you lose.

Another big issue with special interest groups and lobbyist that
makes me cringe is the fact that they do not listen to any conflicting
opinion. Their opinions are all that matters and they espouse it
louder and louder – to drown out any opposition. If that doesn’t work,
they name call, denigrate, reticule, label and/or tells them to “go to hell”.

I believe that no congress member, white house member,
state representative member should be allowed to receive funds
from any of these groups. Special interest groups?lobbyists should only
be allowed to solicit funds from private contributors  -
so only those who believe in the cause contribute.

With many Americans spending their time trying to keep their heads
above water, they may not have the time to fight for their rights.
However, it won’t be long before most of them are gone.

Many Americans are ignorant and may not want to get involved;
hoping it will all work out in the end. Listen, our government officials
have been taking money out of the social security fund for years. Now
many deserving workers will not be able to get these benefits they
have paid in for years. It is going broke sooner than later and
there are not enough workers now paying in for those soon to retire, and use.

America being Greece is not far off people.

People may begin rioting in our streets.
Gas prices are rising and rising.
Our country’s debt is growing and growing.
Our government is spending and spending.

There are not enough rich people in our country that can
be taxed to pay this debt down.
NOT ENOUGH!

Personal responsibility is our own responsibility. If being controlled by
others is your cup a tea, you are sorely mistaken.
We do not elect dictators, we elect representatives.
Having them turn around and take from special interests and
writing laws for their cronies removes our freedoms.

This has to stop…..and fast.

The times are ‘a-changin’ and it is becoming
extremely harder to see the light.

Everyone has had one; an overbearing parent; an overbearing boss;
an overbearing spouse; some bully types – in our lives.
Many learned to deal with these situations either by growing up,
changing jobs, divorce, taking it to the other or overlooking the situation.

Yet as time has progressed, we now see this same type of behavior from our
government. Either placing more and more regulations;
more and more meddling into our personal lives;
requiring ‘REQUIRING’ more from us as citizens.
Governments should not require us to do – that is dictatorship;
we are all supposed to be adhering to our constitution
which provides us liberty, freedom of expression.

Now, more than ever, religion is being attacked.
Our personal freedoms are being attacked.
Yet so little is being done….why?

I believe it is due to limited desire to have involvement, to just being
ignorant of much of what is going on outside of our own little world.
We are busy trying to work, working a second job,
take care of family, take care of our own daily existence.

If you are paying any attention to what is occurring in Europe,
how a society based on dependence is failing, then understand
that our illustrious government is taking us down this same road….quickly!!

Let’s say you have 4 apples.
No matter how they are cut; in half, in quarters or into a million smaller pieces,
there are still 4 apples. Reconstructing these pieces back into whole apples
does not make them bigger or increase the amount of apples.
There are still only 4 apples.

Taking several of the pieces and combining some to make larger pieces
does not increase capacity. Taking larger pieces, cutting them into smaller ones
and then adding them to the already smaller pieces does not
increase the amount of apples.
Pitting some of the pieces toward the others does not improve the 4 apples –
it only rots the entire lot.

To try and sugar coat some of the apples just modifies their color –
they still are apples.

A dependent society eventually dies due to it’s own dependency.
Eventually those that provide the wherewithal for the less fortunate are
gone and what is left? Uneducated, soft, dependent nothings and a easily
defeated populace. It can not be stressed enough that to be a
free person requires a person to be educated, to be responsible, to be aware and
to act.

Successful societies stand upon die-hard principals.

They are not swayed by dictorial actions; by lazy statements;
by cowardly bowing to our enemies; by hand-outs; by regulations;
by diplomacy where stances are extremely opposite
or by governments sticking their noses in all aspects of our business.

At some point the masses will stand up, speak loudly or the
meekness of their ignorance will only allow further decay.
Our world is getting more and more dangerous every day, more competitive
and America is showing a weaker hand year by year.
Special interest groups have taken us down little by little for years
to a point where our feet may be too small to hold up our weight.

Answers must come soon.

We are broke but few care.

We are being dictated too as to
what we watch, eat, listen to, smoke, insure, pay for,
receive for “free”, are handed. How long can this continue?
Life is not a long game when overbearing know-it-alls think they know better.

It is our lives – and we should decide our lives.
Educate yourself! See the light before that bulb is taken away as well.

It is your responsibility for your independence

your dependence removes your will to exist.
