What is going on in this world?

What a question. We have religious factions saying their way is the only way and if we are not “believers”, eliminate them. We have politicians dictating their views saying how we should be governed. We have neighbors touting their ideals dictating our existence. We have family members yelling/hurting/shooting one another because they are more right.

What?!?

Self preservation has turned into a game – a video game. A “look-at-me” mentality perpetuated by media, reality shows and/or video games. Many state, “Have you seen MY latest video?” “How can I get a reality show?” “I am right – you are wrong!”

Personal responsibility seems to have left the building; escaped through a side door – never to be seen again. Success seems to only be measured by ‘hits’, ‘views’, or making the news. Self confidence has been replaced by more out-landish activity. Out-doing others makes us great???

I missed that class.

The idea that – as individuals – we are entitled to anything other than air, water and our own natural abilities is absurd. The only way to be a success is first knowing who you are; what you are made of; your personal values and then acting to improve your ideas. It is a must that we know – we will require help from others – many others.

Help only comes once we sacrifice to help others. This only comes from self educating in many necessary subjects. Handouts are for those refusing to take actions; those deciding to only be lazy; those refusing to apply.

Even though judgments we place upon others is irrelevant, it is too prevalent.

Too many piercings; tattoos; pants wrapped at the thighs; long hair; no hair; or the process of not even putting together a thought or sentence places immediacy on our judgments.

We must be right and we show you how we are right even if we have to beat it into your head. Troubling commentary….

Thoughts, ideas, development of a plan; action: these just take too long. The newer generations coming along are in for a rude awakening. Not everyone gets a trophy for just participating – one must actually achieve.

Through achievement can real accomplishment be realized. This will require self sacrifice; self education; desire; a willingness to listen; development of a plan; and – ACTION.

Only then can a person say they are right because they were wrong enough earlier and were determined to find what was right. Humble but persistent; determined to learn and listen; diligent to act: all creates self-belief and eventually – leads to true happiness.

These are leadership qualities seeming to be lacking today.
Will it be found soon enough?

Decisions, decisions, decisions.
Every day we are all faced with several – ones that
really matter and others that, well, are not as critical.
Yet there are struggles to decide.

Should I make coffee or purchase a fancy one?

Should I wear the suit or jeans?

Should I brush or just rinse?

Should I work my business or play video games?

Each and every day we ask ourselves multiple questions.
Some we have instant answers for while others are put off.

Self confidence comes from perseverance; repeating steps and seeing success.
So to work in the home based business system, most of us do not
follow through with all the steps.

It is not just about talking to others; it is not about wishing things to occur.

There is planning. There is strategizing. There is commitment.
There is a mind-set.
And there is a willingness to step out into new experiences.

Listen, people are out there wanting change, wanting experience,
wanting better. And yes there are even people out there that are
willing to put forth the effort to obtain better, they are more difficult to find.

Most are actually lazy and want things simple.
They do not put themselves out in front – not as leaders but
just stepping beyond THEIR comfort zone.

“What will they ‘think’ of me?”

“I will be ‘thought’ of as some crazy idiot!”

….or words to that effect.

You just never know what people are thinking, wanting, desiring, or
willing to work for without engaging them. Even by asking simple
‘leading-type’ questions can tell you something about the direction the
conversation could or should go. Remember, this is your business and
you decide whom is a best-fit to work with; motivate; assist; and grow with.

So the real issue is in the mind of the business owner.
Is your mind simple? Is your mind able to bounce?
Is your mind able to conquer the negative? Is your mind open?

Personal development is personal; causing many to walk away
before real changes occur. One failure and it is back to the cubical or
counter or weed pulling. If that mind-set were always the case,
how did you learn to walk? Talk? Make money?

You were required to step out somewhat to learn each skill;
you were required to step out and try to better a talent; and,
you will be required to step out to inspire others to want to follow your lead.

It is not a new pair of shoes or better outfit.
It is your mind-set.
It will require work each day to change the mind-patterns learned
over time, to do things differently, to put YOU out front
(even if it needs to be a different you today – making for a new and improved you tomorrow).
