It is difficult to pinpoint at what time in our history that overall
personal responsibility waned. Was it the coddling actions of parents?
Was it that all participants receive a trophy?
Was it ideals that -  since we are all created equal, therefore,
we all should receive similar results?

It no longer seems that one must put in the time,
effort and dedication to get higher quality results.

Instant coffee; microwaves; internet access; immediate gratification.
As more improvements to our daily lives occur, could it be that the
mind begins to believe in an ‘entitlement’ mentality.

“I want it all and I want it now!”

Maybe the revolutionary actions of the ‘60’s began an
erosional evolution to a certain degree. The individual element, which is
extremely good, also contributed to modifications in the raising of our youth.
Time-outs replaced the switch and began the softening.
Agendas replaced the truths. Immediacy replaced hard work.

Unintended consequences – the unknown quality of all decisions.

Not seeing the bigger picture contributes as well.
Because it is now more likely that a personal agenda drives
us more than seeking the truth, working correctly to an ultimate goal,
and making the necessary sacrifices to succeed.

At what point will the younger folks, who by the way now
have a personal debt level of nearly $70,000/each (based on the way our
government ‘drunkin’ sailors’ are spending} see the light. It has mostly been
a truth that a young person looks at the world in democratic eyes
and as age increases, more conservative values grow.

As a younger person, personal wealth has yet to be created,
so wanting others to assist them is stronger.
Yet when a person’s wealth increases, there is less desire to share.
Now wealth is being bashed daily – trying to denigrate working to succeed –
and since the mainstream media agenda-bias toward these
liberal ideals, this is the message being pounded in their heads.
An immediate-result oriented society will read this once, hear this once,
and believe it to be true.

No need to research the words;
it was on the internet, therefore it must be true.

Each participant in life does not receive nor deserve a trophy, simply by existence.
There are many lessons to be learned; many disappointments to be experienced;
many thought processes to explore; many directions to go;
many decisions to be made; and, many sacrifices to be made
prior to achieving success.

The joy of true success is the process of getting there.
Knowing what was sacrificed, what choices were made,
to know the feeling what the ‘trophy’ means. Personal responsibility
means making the sacrifice, doing the little things,
and taking responsibility for all actions.

If the younger generations do not acquire the mind-set of
personal responsibility soon, this society will be vastly different,
less evolving and more ignorant of who we are as people.

Will they know this? Will they change? Will they care?

The world is tough; the responsibilities are many; time is critical.
The fast-pace society we are in these days will not slow down.
As technology continues to improve, we want more…..FASTER!

But the downside of this action is limiting our REAL knowledge;
of finding the REAL truth; so one can make a logical, rational decision.
By simply believing what we see or hear within the mediums that
continue to reinforce our personal opinions or thoughts will only DIVIDE?

The ignorant remain because of their refusal to research;
to follow the information and verify OR discount.
Personal responsibility begins within. True knowledge is REAL when
there are documented FACTS to back up the statements;
not because one can shout louder than another.

A perfect example is what is going on in Michigan today.
For years the Unions have fought for the working but as life changed
to placing lawyers in positions of political power and
union bosses discretionarily sending dues to those
‘they’ wanted in power:  the workers lost out.

Negotiations with companies and government entities to better
‘their’ workers situations without any regard for where, how
or can these monetary increases be paid for, unions are
losing their power. Instead of negotiating with an overall picture,
the long run of ‘ifs’ and ‘buts’ to the consistent changes in life,
they have priced their positions out of reach.

Companies and Governments are GOING broke.
They can not afford large, expensive and/or guaranteed contracts.
Unions are finding their workers reassessing the ‘required dues’ and
why their views are not heard!?!

Intelligence knows that forced actions are not welcomed.

We consider ourselves to be ‘free’ but upon further examinations,
freedoms are being lessened yearly. Too many of those placed
in power become ‘drunk’ with it. They believe they know better
than those that placed them there.

Limited intelligence finds ways to manipulate the language
to improve only themselves placing them more in power.

WE ARE BEING OVER-REGULATED INTO NON-EXISTENCE!

Allowing manipulation to happen smells and by keeping
the masses ignorant, divides us more than any amount of
money made or not earned.
If we spend time only ‘hearing’ what reinforces our own
thoughts/views and do not take the time to research, WE LOSE.

Is only one television station, radio station or elected official your
only ‘view’ direction?
Do you even take the time to follow up on what you hear/see to
find FACTS that reinforce that information?
Listen America, think about who owns the airwaves!
Who spouts the information!

Without personal responsibility to find proof,
to dispel the rhetoric,
how can quality debate, positive change, ever occur?

It does not matter where: FOX, MSMBC, Rush Limbaugh, Bill Marr
or any other ‘talking head’; all have an agenda.
A PERSONAL AGENDA
and YOU only fit in IF they are able to manipulate you to ‘their’ view.

Are your views determined by ‘only’ sight?
By ‘only’ listening’?
By ‘only’ thinking?

With technology we have much more information at our fingertips.
But this also means we have more misinformation.
Those in power are ‘generally’ not there to benefit YOU!
Manipulating the masses into ‘their’ ways is not leadership.
If they decide to turn left and drop into the river, you follow -
to the same demise.

Leadership requires research, character, solid conviction,
and most importantly – listening.

A vision to a productive, prosperous and proud country/company
encompasses many levels of information and analysis.
Our government does NOT possess any type of vision.
They only lead by ‘unintended’ consequences.

WHOOPS, WE THOUGHT THIS WAS THE BETTER WAY TO GO – SORRY!

WE HAVE TO PASS THE BILL SO YOU CAN SEE WHAT IS IN IT!?!

That last statement uttered by (in my opinion) the worst
congressional individual ever placed in power, Nancy Pelosi,
should show all that we mean little to THEM! Yet many Americans continue to
elect these ‘limited-thinking’ individuals to decide FOR THEM!

Taxing the rich will never solve our countries fiscal problems.
Placing more skin in the game for each and every one does.
Free gifts do not make people proud –
hard work and personal accomplishment does.
Personal responsibility begins with the person!

We deserve what we ‘admittedly’ ask for.
We get what we ignorantly allow.
If we make our views based on only what we see; what we hear;
without researching further, how can a better,
undivided people exist or prosper.

Find the facts to support your views  – first,
solid indisputable FACTS !
Then prosperous debate can occur and the undeniable
betterment of all can move forward.
We deserve only to educate ourselves – in fact, this is the
ONLY ENTITLEMENT that is necessary –
personal education will remove ignorance -
not spouted-yelled-louder, or confrontational violence.
